He liked to help his mother out.
And he loved creating images.
Lilith encouraged her son's talents. After all, progression did not come from everyone trying to fill the same role. They all contributed in their own ways.
But these talents did not endear Jair to Adam in any way. As far as Adam was concerned, all of Lilith's children with the Others were a burden to the family.
Lilith bristled at this. How could Adam ignore the work and delight her children bought?
Adam's strange plant grew to be a monster of sorts. Lilith didn't want her children near it.
Perhaps it was his misery at home that spurred Adam to escape from camp and fish in his secret Grotto.
He loved being away from the harsh sun and family members. It was with great reluctance that he returned and attended his garden.
Jair's talent grew quickly and he was able to create images of his surroundings.
As pleased as he was, he still felt alone much of the time.
As the family faced another morning with berries for breakfast,
Adam went to attend his monster plant. But it was missing!
He accused Lilith of selling it. She furiously denied it and insisted someone else must have stolen it. Secretly she feared the thing had moved about on it's own. Adam then blamed her for her insistence that it be grown away from the other crops and the tents. No amount of reasoning would calm Adam down. He stalked of to his beloved Grotto to fish.
Genesis was a gloomy boy anyway, but being caught between two warring parents did not help his moods.
Sometimes Adam acted as if it pained him to sit with the family for the evening meal.
Delilah outgrew her swaddling clothes. She was an Outgoing little girl that aspired to be a Social Butterfly.
Delilah was a chatty thing. She and Tahash awoke Adam and he was irritable.
Genesis was gloomy about not having fish for breakfast again. Like his mother, he longed for the day when bellies felt full more than empty.
Lilith dug near the camp while keeping a close eye on her daughter. A young girl shouldn't be left alone.
Jair was reluctant to part from his new hobby but the lack of fish required he join the other boys and men in fishing. Meanwhile Adam tending the garden and worked on crafting items.
Clearly showing his preference, Adam was only interested in developing a relationship with the First Born.
Adam could not appreciate the conflict that warred within Genesis due to his father's hostility to his mother and siblings. Something so apparent that Jair had even captured an image of it.
