Hey there, Delilah

Fresh fruits and vegetables tasted far better than older, foul fish, but the fish kept hunger at bay until the evening. They were disappointed when they awakened without any fish available. It happened too often.

But even though they grumbled and complained, they were grateful for the fresh produce from their own garden. It filled their tummies just enough to get the day started. And if they were lucky there's be enough fish for an early dinner. Tahash was an active little boy that played at every opportunity.

Jair was a very different little boy. When he wasn't talking your ear off, he liked to make things with clay.

But Jair would stop his activities and help his mother when she asked.

And both of the little boys pitched in to help supply food for the family.

Lilith realized she was with child again. She was pleased.

Enough fish had been caught to feed the family.

Jair was happy to be making friends his own age.

But he still loved spending time with his brothers.

Tahash loved to tell his mother wild stories about catching fish.

The family's day started out happier when there was a filling meal.

Adam complained bitterly that he should have a day of rest every week. Lilith would enjoy that too, but she would not let her family go hungry. She thought he ought to stop his whining considering even the youngest family member pitched in without complaining.

And she worked hard even when she was with child.

Jair made another friend.

Jair completed the Social Butterfly aspiration

Lilith was proud of all of her sons. Adam was proud of Genesis.

Adam found a very strange seed and decided to grow it into a plant. The seed made Lilith uneasy and she asked him to grow it far away from their tents.

He had developed a talent for growing his crops quickly and successfully.

Genesis grew closer to his father and often asked his advice.

Having full bellies all day and night combined with pleasant conversation around the evening fire gave their lives a sweet contentment, Lilith thought.

Adam's strange plant grew stranger still.

Digging and walking through the desert was exhausting when great with child.

Lilith was so exhausted that she needed to nap in her tent in hopes that her back would stop aching.

She was awakened by pains ripping through her lower body.

Lilith gave birth to a daughter. She was proud of her sons, but so pleased to have a daughter at last. She named her daughter, Delilah.

Both of Lilith's younger sons felt a bit jealous of their new sister.

In the late hours of the night, Jair grew into his teen years. He aspired to be an Outdoor Enthusiast. Achieving that goal might be difficult as he had grown to be Lazy.
